Otters basically have a free spirit; they take a nap on the shores and they love to fool around with friends. But once they are in the water, they become a merciless hunter that swiftly goes after their prey. Otters develop a strong bond between their family members. They live together as a group and raise their children at the waterside. Take a peek into their everyday lives. 


Asian small clawed otter
This smallest otter species in the world can range from 40 to 60 cm (16 to 24 inches)in length, and3 to 6 kg(7 to 13lbs) in weight. They live by the rivers and lakes, or in wetlands. They form a strong bond with their partners, and live together with their family group composed of 10 to 15 members. As their name suggests, they have a small claw on the tip of their fingers, and they also have webbings between their fingers.
