First Floor- Ocean Journey

About 70% of the earth’s surface is covered by water. These different aquatic ecosystems - coastal waters, bays, offshore areas and open seas - are inhabited by many species of fish, mammals, and invertebrates including corals, squids, jellyfish and more.



Second Floor- Waterfront Journey

Waterside areas abound on rivers, lakes and coasts all over the world. In addition to fish and invertebrates, these areas are also inhabited by aquatic plants, different varieties of frogs and turtles and many mammals, and comprise many different ecosystems.



Outdoor Marine Garden- Sky Journey

A veritable "Oasis in the sky" located on top of an urban high-rise building. In the Rooftop Marine Garden surrounded by sky, light, water and greenery, you can admire the world’s first exhibitions of Penguin in the sky, featuring penguins flying across the city sky, and of Penguin in the grassland, reproducing the natural habitat of the African Penguin. After sunset, this area turns into a healing space surrounded by wondrous light effects.



Shop Aqua Pocket (Second Floor)

A luminous shop with large windows featuring plenty of products for children as well as adults.
Take them home with you to relive the emotions and memories you experienced at the Aquarium.




INFORMATION

- For wheelchair users

There is a wheelchair-priority elevator in the aquarium.

There are wheelchair accessible toilets on the 2nd floor of the aquarium and in the Outdoor Area Marine Garden.

 

- For guests with infants

There is a nursing room (baby room) on the 2nd floor of the aquarium.

 

PLEASE NOTE

・  No pets may be brought into the aquarium. However, entry with a guide dog is permitted.

・  The use of push chairs and baby carriages may be prohibited during busy periods for safety reasons.

・  No food or drink may be brought into the aquarium, and eating/drinking in the aquarium is prohibited. Drinks may be consumed in the Marine Garden only, but only from capped containers such as flasks or plastic bottles. 

・  Please refrain from flash photography at certain exhibits to protect the marine life there.

・  Please respect other visitors in the aquarium.

・  Please note that we may change our operational hours or close certain exhibits depending on the weather.
